Confluence loop

In the place where the two main Lithuanian rivers meet, medieval old town of Kaunas is located. The project suggests connecting culturally and naturally important city parts, such as the old town, the castle, and the confluence park by a continuous public space structure – the confluence loop. Pedestrian route ring integrates in one system all tourist attractions, information points, public spaces, places for sports, events and recreation. The loop makes the old town easy to visit, attractive for pedestrians and pleasant place to stay.
